More recently, I have taken several online courses from Udacity and CodeSchool on the topics of:
And I just finished an online course from Udemy, Web Developer Boot Camp, taught by Colt Steele, covering basic web dev all the way through MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, and Passport.js.
YelpCamp is an ongoing project that showcases the skills I have learned in this course.
I currently have no professional web design experience, but I have worked on multiple projects as part of the online courses I've taken and on my own.
I also have experience working as an intern for a start-up company while I was at the University of Texas. While there, I collaborated with the marketing team and helped them maintain a database of products (campgrounds) and wrote several blog posts and product descriptions as a copywriting intern.
YelpCamp is a database which allows logged-in users to create campground posts, add comments to campgrounds, and edit/delete his/her own campgrounds/comments.GitHub Link
